-IHEC is working on reimbursement the assurance amount to the candidates and fulfilling the fines.
– IHEC approves the dissolution of a political party.

– IHEC concludes a workshop to evaluate its performance in the 2021 elections with several recommendations and ideas.
Legal and administrative procedures are being taken by IHEC, to return the insurance amounts to the winning candidates in the 2021 parliamentary elections through a personal request submitted in all electoral governorate offices, after paying the fines for the violations as stipulated in the electoral campaign system No. (5) of 2020, as well as informing all violating candidates who have been informed to pay the fine for their violation within a period of (10) days from the date of notification.
On the other hand, the Independent High Electoral Commission continues the process of distributing the financial rewards to the polling staff who participated in the 2021 parliamentary elections. The distribution was through the headquarters of the directorates of state treasuries in all governorates in coordination with the specialized committees formed in the electoral governorates offices to follow up the disbursement process.
The governorates ( Al-Muthanna, Najaf and Karbala) have achieved duties in this regard, where (Wasit, Maysan, Nineveh, and Anbar) are about to finish the distribution, while the percentages have varied in the rest of other governorates.
Under the instruction of the Electoral Administration of IHEC, the GEOs are studying the spread of voters to spot their residenc places and numbers and running mobile teams to conduct the biometric registration process in coordination with the security authorities, in addition to welcome the voters in registration centers to complete their biometric registration process for newborns and those not previously registered, as well as Distribution of biometric cards not received by the voters.
In a second context, the Board of Commissioners decisides to dissolve one of the political parties, based on a request submitted to the Directorate of Parties and Political Organizations Affairs, by the Constituent Assembly, to dissolve the party.
The Independent High Electoral Commission organized a workshop in Sulaymaniyah to evaluate its performance in the October 10th , 2021 elections, after days of discussion and reviews concerning the work joints related to the last electoral event.
The workshop witnessed a comprehensive evaluation of the commission’s operational plan and legal procedures, dealing with complaints and appeals, media and mass communication, in addition to the files of procedures, voter registration, training and election security, as well as designing the ballot paper, registering candidates and training polling officials, in addition to the work of the Directorate of Parties and Political Organizations Affairs, and the participation of women in the elections.
In his closing speech, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Judge ( Jalil Adnan Khalaf) , stressed that the next stage will be to enhance the professional level at which the institution appeared before and after the last elections.
The workshop witnessed many interventions by the head of the electoral administration, Judge Amer Al-Husseini, and members of the Board of Commissioners regarding the various administrative, legal, operational and media axes in the workshop.
