⚫️ IHEC continues registering the voters born in years (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), in registration centers.
⚫️ The Directorate of Political Parties and Organizations Affairs continues to supervise conferences of the party which has an official party founding certificate.
In accordance with the implementation of the technical and media plan for the biometric registration project, IHEC continues to receive voters who were born in the years (2001, 2002, 2003, Ministry of Higher Education & scientific research 2004), in registration centers spread throughout Iraq and related to all GEOs, as well as coordinating work with the to organize educational seminars in universities, colleges and institutes targeting students and employees, as well as conducting the biometric registration process for those who were not registered, in addition to coordinating with the Ministry of Higher Education & scientific research to implement educational programs to spread awareness and electoral education among qualified students whose ages allowed them to participate in the elections.
On the other hand, the Directorate of Parties and Political Organizations Affairs, through a team of its specialized employees in the district and the GEOs, monitors the party conferences that have an official founding certificate , which is one of the requirements and conditions of establishing a political party,as stipulated in (the Parties and Political Organizations Law) No. ( 36) for the year 2015, also all registered parties_ wishing to change the head and members of the party, the secretary-general or his two deputies_ are subject to supervision and follow-up for the purpose of granting them official approval in accordance with the controls, conditions and legal procedures.
On the other hand, the Electoral Commission keens to provide a safe environment for storing voting devices and polling kits, it seeks to take all precautions to preserve these equipments.
Accordingly, under the direct guidance of the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Judge (Jalil Adnan Khalaf, and the CEO, Judge (Amer Musa Al-Husseini) , the directors of the electoral offices In all governorates were directed to make an inspection tour of the commission’s warehouses designated for storing electoral devices, electoral kits and ballot papers to see the mechanisms followed and direct supervision of the preservation and storage of verification, sorting, counting devices and sensitive and non-sensitive materials used in the previous electoral process, as well as the mechanisms for packing ballot papers and attached forms, and ensuring that all safety measures are taken in accordance with the necessary safety requirements of preventive safety.
Financially , the Independent High Electoral Commission, through its electoral offices, is constantly following up the process of distributing the financial rewards for the polling officials participated in the 2021 parliamentary elections, which are currently taking place in the headquarters of the directorates of state treasuries in all governorates, where specialized committees have been formed in this regard.
Facilitating distribution procedures for polling officials and overcoming administrative obstacles within the terms and instructions in force. Al-Muthanna Governorate has completed the distribution completely, while Wasit Governorate is about to complete the distribution.
