The appeal file is in its final stage
IHEC announces the completion of the Process of counting and sorting of contested stations which evidences were attached to the appeals against them as to the appeals appendix of the candidates in the governorates of Diyala, Babil, Karbala and Najaf.
The Independent High Electoral Commission announces Today, on Thursday, 4th November 2021, the completion of the process of sorting and counting of the stations for which evidences were attached to the appeals against them concerning the appeals’ appendix of the candidates of the governorates of Diyala, Babil, Karbala and Najaf, in the presence of representatives of the appellants candidates, international observers and authorized media personnel.
The result of the audit of evidences will be submitted the Board of Commissioners to recommend appeals under the followed procedures.
In the same context, tomorrow, Friday, the appendix of the appeals against stations attached by evidences by the contested candidates, will be reviewed in Karkh and Rusafa in Baghdad to be considered completely after completing the review and investigation of what the candidates submitted in the aforementioned appendix.
