Appeals’ file is in its final stage
? IHEC announces the completion of the process of counting and sorting of Basra Governorate stations
The Independent High Electoral Commission announces on Wednesday, 3rd November 2021 ,the completion of the manual counting of the stationsthat have been contested by the appellants in Basra Governorate, in the presence of representatives of the appellants of candidates, international observers and authorized media personnel.
The result of the manual counting and sorting of stations in this governorate will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners to recommend the appeal under the followed procedures.
In the same context,on tomorrow, Thursday, the evidences attached to the appeals appendix of the governorates (Diyala, Babil, Karbala and Najaf) will be reviewed so the appeals file will be completely considered after finishing the reviewing and investigation of what the candidates submitted in the aforementioned appendix.
