The speech of judge (Jalil Adnan Khalaf) – chairman of the Board of Commissioners- at the end of the special voting
In smooth procedures and good participation, the special voting procedures started today, from 07:00 A.M until 06:00P.M, in which the security forces, the displaced and others included in the voting process which has been conducted on the 8th October 2021.
A first expression will be taken to ensure that this election will be different as what was witnessed and followed in this day of the October elections on the ground, by examining the procedures of the electoral process and the participation and remarks recorded by the staff of the Commission and its media teams.
All members of the Board of Commissioners since the early morning hours have been roaming, observing, and following up on the conduct of the elections at the polling station level in Baghdad and outside it.
Accordingly, the ratio of participation in this day, indicated the beginning of success in these elections, and that the voting process went smoothly without recording security breaches, in the time our institution is following up on all the reports that have been send to the monitoring committees to take the appropriate decision.
We are very grateful to our security forces as they performed their duty with national responsibility and voted to choose their representative in these elections, which we inspire the same will happen in the next Sunday elections which we hope it will be successful with full participation.
In the context of implementing select the in which the counting and manual counting will take place, in order to complete the requirements of the elections, by drawing of lots, we will choose the ballot boxes for the manual sorting & counting process in order to finish what we started with of safeguarding the votes of the voters to preserve their transparency announcement with confidence and trust.
Well, here, we can’t help but to thank all the judges in the Supreme Judicial panel who accompanied us today and received the violations.
We also produce our thanks to all the members of the Supreme Security Committee, led by the Prime Minister.
