قسم الشكاوى والطعون

يُعدّ قسم الشكاوى والطعون في المفوّضية العليا المستقلّة للانتخابات أحد أهمّ الأقسام المرتبطة بالأمانة العامّة لمجلس المفوّضين، إذ يتمثل عمله في تسلّم الشكاوى والطعون في مراحل العملية الانتخابية كافّة، ومعالجتها وفقًا للقوانين والأنظمة الصادرة عن المفوّضية بإشراف مباشر ومتابعة مستمرّة من قبل السيّد الأمين العامّ لمجلس المفوّضين، ومن ثَمَّ يتمّ رفع جميع التوصيات والمشورات القانونية الصادرة عن القسم لعرضها امام انظار السيد رئيس مجلس المفوّضين لاتخاذ القرار، كما يقوم القسم بتمثيل المفوّضية أمام المحاكم المختصّة في القضايا التي تكون المفوّضية طرفًا فيها. ويمارس عمله من خلال الشعب الآتية:
(1) شعبة الاستشارات والشكاوى.
(2) شعبة التحقيق.
(3) شعبة البيانات والمتابعة.
(4) شعبة النزاهة.
