The fifth day of considering the appeals
? IHEC announces the completion of the process of counting and sorting of stations in the governorates of Erbil, Kirkuk, Karbala, Muthanna, Qadisiyah and Anbar
Today, Sunday, 31 October 2021, the Independent High Electoral Commission announces the completion of the manual counting of the contested stations in the governorates of Erbil, Kirkuk, Karbala, Muthanna, Qadisiyah and Anbar, in the presence of representatives of the candidates who appealed against their results, international observers and authorized media personnel.
The result of the manual counting and sorting of stations in these governorates will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners to recommend appeals under the followed procedures.
In the same context, tomorrow, Monday, the counting and sorting process of Dhi Qar governorate stations will start to be finished on Tuesday.
IHEC renews its invitation to the observers of the political entities and representatives of the candidates -the appellants- to ser the procedures of the process of counting and sorting in Al-Sharaf hall that continue according to the legal framework.
The presence of the observers strengthens the confidence between IHEC and the candidates who could freely watch over the process of counting and sorting which takes place without any restrictions or obstacles.
