_The Board of Commissioners issues a number of decisions regulating the work of IHEC .
-IHEC still providing formation licensing for political parties wishing to register.
-IHEC is distributing the rewards of polling officials.
WEEKLY STATEMENT
The Board of Commissioners issued number of decisions including the approval of granting formation licensing to parties who want to be registered. They are now about (265)registered party .
IHEC continues to follow up the procedures for collecting financial fines for (192) violation that breach the electoral campaign Act, to be handed over to the state treasury. The percentage of violations in the governorates varies according to the size of the governorate and the number of candidates in it.
Among the decisions of the Board of Commissioners, the Commission continued the process of distributing the biometric voters’ cards concerning the public and private voting in the registration centers of the electoral governorates offices , according to the geographical area. as well as continuing the biometric registration of previously unregistered voters and newlyborn voters. .
On the other hand, the Board of Commissioners approved the recommendations and results of the workshop which was done for discussing the report of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the report of the League of Arab States and the European Union mission, and the report of local organizations that praised the integrity and transparency of the electoral process and its organizing , pointing to some notes that were recorded on the course of work for the purpose of avoiding it in the upcoming liabilities .
The process of distributing the rewards to the polling staff participating in the 2021 parliamentary elections, will start at Karkh and Rusafa/Baghdad offices on Monday, 4/11/2022 at the headquarters of the Baghdad governorate treasury, it is continued for the remainder of the other governorates.
